Thank you 2023!

2023 has been a wonderful year for the studio. After Covid, and the break from full production mode, it was such a joy to return to The Little Theatre with our production of "The Wizard of Oz" in September. This production was such a happy one for all involved and we will treasure our memories.

In 2022, we were only able to stage two smaller productions, which at least gave our pupils an opportunity to get back into things, but 2023 really felt like we were back to where we left off in 2019.

Trinity College of London Examinations play an important role in the training of our drama pupils. These are not compulsory, but are encouraged for those who are serious about developing their skills. Preparation for these does not take place during weekly drama classes, but in special private examination class groups. We had two sessions this year. One in June and the other in late October, early November. The results for both sessions were outstanding and our heartfelt congratulations to all our pupils who worked so hard to achieve the goals they aimed for.

The studio will close for 2023 on Friday 1 December. We will load the 2024 timetable and details onto the website in time for the reopening of schools in January, but drama doesn't start during the first week of term in 2024. We do give you a chance to juggle your extramural timetables before settling on a class time. We are hoping to offer extra classes, particularly at Clarendon, where we have had a waiting list for most of 2023.
