And just like that, the studio is closed for 2025. Thank you for your continued support, and congratulations to all our Trinity Examination candidates on their outstanding results in the November examinations.

We will update the website with the 2026 timetable just prior to school reopening next year, so keep an eye out for our January post.

Just a few things :

• An Isithatha Christmas opens at the Isithatha Theatre tomorrow (Sunday) and runs until Tuesday. The show, produced by Gemma Barnard Productions and directed by Lesley Barnard, with musical direction by Mark Phelps, is a delightful, light-hearted Christmas celebration for the whole family. Book at www.isithatha.co.za/tickets. PS Olivia D'Arcy, Hazel Scherer and Soni Mali are part of the cast - all Clarendon/Rother Swain Drama pupils. The event will highlight the spirit of community and audiences are invited to bring along pet food to put under the tree for the AACL. The production is also a fundraiser for the Isithatha Theatre project.

• At Isithatha, we collect old clothes, used household items and books to sell at our informal POP UP markets. The proceeds from these sales go towards employing staff from the nearby township, feeding the children on our drama project, maintaining the property and general running expenses. Should you be clearing out, please remember us. Thank you so much to the many parents who support us with this project by adding a donation to drama fees. You have no idea how much this assists us.

• PEMADS have a delightful pantomime PETER PAN-TOMIME opening soon. This will be staged at the Little Theatre, Athol Fugard Terrace from 3rd - 21st December. Tickets are available from "webtickets" from R100 - R125. Directed by a past pupil, Kelsey Scheepers, with quite a few current pupils in the show, the pantomime is always a wonderful year end delight! Please note that there has been a major security upgrade around the Little Theatre.
