Our Programs
Below is an overview of our Studio Programs on offer to learners.
Group Drama Classes
Our classes prioritize fostering confidence and communication skills, encompassing a wide range of areas in the dramatic arts. From physical and vocal warm-ups to text work and storytelling, our curriculum includes speech production, mime, improvisation, creative drama, theatre sports, and exercises for imagination, teamwork, and leadership development.
Matric Drama Programme
We offer Drama as a Matric Subject at Pearson High School, from Grades 10-12. The course covers the curriculum set in line with schools across the country, and focuses on both Drama Theory and Performance skills.
Trinity College of London
At our studio, students have the option to enroll in Trinity College of London Examinations for individual or small group performance focus. These sessions are held twice a year in June and November, offering examinations in Performance Arts or Communication Skills, among others available on the Trinity College of London syllabus. While private lessons are arranged for these examinations, participation remains optional, and students who choose to take part must also attend a weekly group class. We take pride in our students' excellent past results in these examinations. For more details, visit www.trinitycollege.com
Annual Stage Productions
Since 1992, the Rother Swain Studio has been staging annual productions, ranging from full musicals to serious dramas. Their inclusive approach ensures all students experience various genres of theatre during their training period. While auditions determine lead roles, every student interested in participating gets an opportunity, and involvement in productions remains optional, allowing regular classes to focus on skill-building, confidence, and stagecraft without interference from rehearsal schedules.
