As stated in last term's "end of term notice" classes started on the first day of term, which was Tuesday.
We ran very successful auditions (Grade 4's upwards) last night at Isithatha Theatre for "Giants in the Sky" and are very excited about our upcoming production. If anyone missed these auditions, please email sharon.rother@gmail.com and we will arrange a slot for you on Monday evening. Please note that Pre-School to Grade 3 need not audition but will be cast automatically. Everyone who wishes to be a part of the production, will be cast.
We will be holding a dance session on Saturday with choreographer, Abigail Ranwell. This was announced on the last blog update. There will be two sessions. The first one will be for Pre-schoolers to Grade 3 and will take place from 2.00 - 3.00 p.m. The Grade 4's upwards will take place from 3.15 - 4.15. All pupils who are participating in the production need to attend, unless they have excused themselves due to band tours etc... Please dress comfortably and tie hair up. No jewellery for dancing please.
The timetable for the singing auditions will be available on Saturday. Pupils will not need to wait for the full duration of the audition time as auditions will be divided into slots.
It will be a very exciting day at Clarendon tomorrow as the Grades 2,3,4, 6 & 7 Drama classes will have their drama classes in the new Performance Arts Centre! We have been in the Grade 4 Technology Room for the first two terms, so are looking forward to the space. Congratulations to Clarendon Park Primary on this wonderful new centre.
We trust that you had a wonderful mid year break and we look forward to seeing everyone again.
Best wishes
Sharon and Linda-Louise
