TRINITY EXAMINATIONS

Please be reminded that Trinity exam entries close on 25 June. Details about these exams appear on the "Schedules and Forms" page on this website. You are not required to fill in any forms, but I require full names, date of birth and proof of payment to Trinity College London. Details on forms mentioned above. No late entries can be accepted.

STUDIO SHOW for 2026.

I am currently investigating theatre venues and royalties for a studio production. Security is paramount. I have been amazed at the increase in Royalties and the hire of theatre venues. Theatre rentals are between R50 000 - 80 000 for a week, and Royalties range from R45 000 to R85 000! This is without the rental of a rehearsal venue, sound (mics etc..) usually at around R35 000. This will mean that we will have to market the show aggressively to cover costs!

I am looking at the week after school returns for term 4, meaning that rehearsals will take place during the September holidays as well. I will provide details once I have finalised all arrangements. My sincere thanks to Heidi Brown and Chantelle Steenkamp for their assistance at this time.

SECURITY AT STUDIO

Please note that I have had a camera doorbell installed, which means that the gate will now be kept closed. I am able to see pupils at the gate and will open as required. However, please ring the bell if I don't see them at the gate! Thank you. I also have a panic button in the studio, and we have cameras on the property.

Thank you for the kind messages and support received at this difficult time for the studio. I am grateful for Kerry Allen, Rachel Brown and Emma Brown who are helping me with classes.

CLARENDON

Clarendon classes will be earlier during school examinations. The timetable will be updated soon.
