As most of you are aware, Linda-Louise Swain passed away peacefully on Tuesday 12 May after a short illness. Words cannot express how this loss will impact on myself, the studio and the many people who were blessed to be in her life. She was the most generous and loving person out there who selflessly devoted her life to teaching theatre and caring for animals, through her efforts with the Animal Anti-Cruelty League.
The messages of love, support and condolences have been overwhelming and apologies if all have not been replied to yet. I will get there.
Thinking of her beloved sister, Sue and her life partner, Gary Cooper at this difficult time.
The studio is pushing on with young teachers joining. I will be mentoring them through their journey to acquire Trinity College of London teaching qualifications, although all have completed all their Trinity College of London performance examinations to Grade 8 level. Kerry Allen, one of our teachers, holds a Masters Degree in Drama. Lesson plans are structured by myself and I will continue to ensure that the studio offers the very best tuition to our pupils.
I am aware of the early closure of school at Clarendon this coming Friday and will publish a revised timetable in the next day or so. Classes will continue. I am also aware that many pupils will be away on tour. Please be reminded that they are welcome to attend any class at the studio during the week. Refer to the previous blog for the times. I will repeat them in the next blog for your convenience.
Please do not hesitate to contact me with any concerns you have. I can be texted on 082 7749083 or emailed at sharon.rother@gmail.com
Wishing you a wonderful week!
Regards
Sharon Rother
